Chief Executive Officer
In the summer of 2013, I began a search for a new and different professional challenge. It took many months to locate the right opportunity, but on May 1, 2014, I purchased BetaMED and started my current role as CEO. Prior to entering the home medical equipment market, I spent four years as finance director for the multi-specialty physician group practice at Baylor Scott & White Clinics in Bryan, College Station and Brenham. Several years working as a lender for First National Bank of Amarillo and Church Loans & Investments Trust and a stint as senior financial analyst for The Texas A&M University System prepared me to work for the large non-profit group. I attended Texas A&M University, Class of ’00, where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. I followed that with a Master of Professional Accounting from West Texas A&M University before earning my CPA license in 2012. I’m a native of the Texas Panhandle. My wife, Sam and I moved backed to Bryan/College Station in 2008. We knew this was the community where we wanted to raise our two kids, Andrew and Ainsley. In my free time, I enjoy doing things with them, reading (mainly non-fiction…I know that’s boring, right?), and playing golf. I look forward to the opportunity to earn your trust and serve your needs.
Administrator & Compliance Officer
Tanya brings a variety of expertise to the BetaMED team. Having been with the company since 2010, her product knowledge and years of experience in the healthcare industry translate to outstanding customer service and great attention to details. Tanya has in-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payors regulations. She has vast experience in all facets of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry. Tanya has extensive experience in medical billing, accounts receivable management and claims resolution.
Richard Pinon, ATP
ATP & Service Manager
Richard has over 25 years of experience in all technical aspects of repairs, technical support and customer service. He is well respected by industry peers. Richard is adept in the everyday dealings of service-oriented companies, both large and small, and skilled in instructing customers and patients on the proper use and maintenance of their medical equipment. He believes that a satisfied customer is BetaMED’s greatest asset and best advertisement. Richard earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Devry Institute of Technology in Irving, Texas. He is an Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) working in all areas of complex rehabilitation mobility equipment.
Patient Services Coordinator
Debbi has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, having worked for large hospitals and community clinics. She is responsible for all aspects of patient services. Debbi is an effective advocate and liaison between the patients and the physicians. She always goes the extra step to ensure that all her patients are well served with individualized and compassionate care.
